Aidaen’s Place receives a $100,000 grants for capital projects to increase youth wellness in Yarmouth.

Today, our government announced a number of grants to community groups across Nova Scotia that provide mental health and addiction programs in community.

Locally, this includes Aidaen’s Place Youth Wellness Center in Yarmouth which will receive a $100,000 provincial grant.

I was thrilled to visit Aidaen’s Place this afternoon to share the great news with some of the youth and staff!

In December, my colleague, Brian Comer, Minister of Addictions and Mental Health visited our region. We visited Aidaen’s Place where we learned more of the great work and the support they provide to youth in our community. I appreciate Minister Comer’s visit and his support of this organization!

I know this investment will be very helpful. Thanks to everyone at Aidaen’s Place for their work to support youth in our community.
